Card Condition & Grading

Every single sold by Pouch & Spark Collectibles is hand-checked and graded Near Mint to Lightly Played before it ships. Here is what that means and how we protect your cards.

What "Near Mint to Lightly Played" means

We list cards ranging from Near Mint (looks close to freshly pulled from a pack, with at most very minor wear such as a tiny edge or corner imperfection or a faint surface mark) down to Lightly Played (light whitening on the edges or corners, minor surface scratches, or slight scuffing — still flat and fully playable/displayable, with no creases or bends). Cards with obvious creases, bends, heavy scratches, ink marks, or water damage are not sold. Any notable condition detail beyond typical Near Mint is called out on the product page.

How we grade

We inspect each card's corners, edges, surface, and centering under good lighting before listing and again before packing. If a card does not meet at least Lightly Played, we do not ship it.

How we protect your card

Every order is sleeved and packed with protection (such as a top-loader or rigid mailer) so it arrives in the condition described.

Not satisfied?

Note: card grading is a visual assessment, not third-party certified grading (e.g. PSA/BGS). "Near Mint to Lightly Played" describes our own inspection standard.
