Card Condition & Grading

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Every single sold by Pouch & Spark Collectibles is hand-checked and graded Near Mint (NM) or better before it ships. Here is what that means and how we protect your cards.

What "Near Mint (NM)" means

A Near Mint card looks close to freshly pulled from a pack. Under normal handling it shows only very minor wear at most — for example, a tiny edge or corner imperfection or a faint surface mark that is difficult to notice at a glance. Cards with obvious whitening, creases, bends, scratches, ink marks, or water damage are not sold as Near Mint.

How we grade

We inspect each card's corners, edges, surface, and centering under good lighting before listing and again before packing. If a card does not meet Near Mint or better, we do not ship it as such.

How we protect your card

Every order is sleeved and packed with protection (such as a top-loader or rigid mailer) so it arrives in the condition described.

Not satisfied?

If a card arrives below the described condition or is damaged in transit, we will make it right. Please see our Refund & Returns Policy or email sales@pouchsparkcollectibles.com within 7 days of delivery.

Note: card grading is a visual assessment, not third-party certified grading (e.g. PSA/BGS). "Near Mint" describes our own inspection standard.
